Maintaining the Countertop
Wash your countertop with mild soap and water. Be wary of cleansers and scrub pads that may have solvents or abrasives that can harm the surface. As with any natural counter surface, be certain to wipe acidic liquids like wine, vinegar or lemon juice immediately.
Routine maintenance is limited to a monthly application of finishing wax. Your countertop will develop a naturally hard, protective coating that helps repel stains with each coat. Many owners only wax their concrete countertops once a year, while some never do at all. Neglecting maintenance may patina and stain the countertop but will not affect the durability.
